San Diego, CA San Diego State University
San Diego is the second largest city in California and the undisputed birthplace of the state. Approximately two hours south of Los Angeles, and just north of the Mexican border, San Diego is one of the most beautiful cities in the U.S. Within San Diego County, there are 70 miles of beach, two sparkling bays, several inspiring mountain ranges and a breathtaking desert. San Diego is California’s jewel nestled on the southern coastline, offering unique neighborhoods to discover, restaurants galore, fascinating museums and world-class music and theater opportunities with some of the best weather the U.S. has to offer. Our first session will take place at the University Towers which serves as a home away from home for many seniors who have been participating in our program for over 22 years. The building is located across the street from San Diego State University, near the university athletic center and only minutes from San Diego's world-famous attractions. Our second session will take place at the luxurious Island Palms Hotel and Marina. This upscale hotel is surrounded by the deep blue waters of San Diego's Bay, nestled among 3.5 acres of lush, tropical landscaping overlooking the private marina home to some of the world's largest and most prestigious mega-yachts. This tropical paradise is just minutes to all of San Diego's attractions, beaches, golf and shopping.
Amenities include wireless high-speed internet access, two heated bayview pools and spas, exercise room, tea makers, hair dryer, FREE HBO and more. SESSIONS INCLUDE: Session information coming soon!
