Philadelphia, PA University of Pennsylvania
In Philadelphia, history meets the 21st Century with energy and excitement. At the University of Pennsylvania, you'll find a historic, Ivy League school with a picturesque campus amidst a dynamic city and a world-class research institution. Penn carries on the principles and spirit of its founder, Benjamin Franklin: entrepreneurship, innovation, invention, outreach, and a pragmatic love of knowledge. Historic Philadephia is packed with restaurants, galleries, shops and attractions, each with its own distinctive spin on history. You'll discover America's most sacred historic sites in Independence Mall, stroll cobblestone streets with centuries-old homes, churches and landmarks, and enjoy the energy of the artists, boutique owners and restaurants in the former warehouse district.
